- Integration Datacom Engineer will be responsible for the configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms within large-scale enterprise and service provider environments.
- Key responsibilities include managing PE and AGG devices, performing VLAN and interface configurations, establishing P2P links, and implementing static and BGP routing.
- Technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a shift-based operational setup.
- Perform configuration, integration, troubleshooting, deletion, and cutover activities for PE and AGG devices across Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms.
- Execute daily configuration tasks including: 1) Interface / SubInterface setup 2) VLAN implementation 3) Point-to-Point (P2P) link configuration 4) Static route setup 5) BGP routing configuration and optimization
- Ensure smooth execution of cutover activities with minimal downtime.
- Provide technical support during planned and unplanned network changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address incidents, resolve issues, and implement best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Adhere to operational standards, security policies, and quality requirements.
- Work in a shift-based schedule, including weekends or night shifts as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional (Service Provider or Enterprise) / JNCIS - Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (Enterprise Routing) | Certifications (mandatory - at least one):
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Datacom/Network Integration.
- Good understanding of routing and switching principles.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms.
- Practical experience with PE and AGG device configurations, VLANs, interfaces, P2P links, static routes, and BGP routing.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based operational environment (including nights and weekends).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
