- Manages the engineering interfaces, design information to ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and Performance criteria during operation of the plant
- Ensure adequate inspections and tests are performed and the results are properly documented to ensure safe, reliable and correct operation (Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, etc.)
- Identification and management of project risks
- Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
- Keep the plant clean and enforce HSE standards to protect personnel and equipment
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
- Prepare the technical reports and operating manuals requested by his supervisor
- Ensure that all employees pursue the HSE training
- Proactively pursue personal training opportunities to deepen subject matter expertise and managerial skills
- Assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion
