- Develop and implement SHE policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with local and international standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian and global SHE regulations
- Provide expert advice on environmental compliance and occupational health and safety matters to senior management
- Manage and analyze SHE performance data, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of SHE professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee SHE training programs for employees at all levels of the organization
- Spearhead initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability of operations
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate SHE considerations into all aspects of business processes
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and represent the organization in SHE-related matters
- Stay updated on emerging SHE trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SHE roles, with a focus on industrial or corporate settings
- Proven expertise in environmental management systems, safety protocols, and health standards
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian environmental and safety regulations, as well as international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Strong proficiency in risk assessment, data analysis, and report writing
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage SHE policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in using environmental management software and data analysis tools
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and industry best practices
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as required for site visits and audits
