Senior Electrical Engineer

• Review and verify electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations submitted by consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE), and local regulations.
• Coordinate and liaise with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor and inspect electrical works on-site for quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to design intent.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Support project planning by validating electrical activities, timelines, and milestones.
• Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support to project teams and contractors during procurement and construction stages.
• Attend project meetings and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Ensure that sustainability and energy efficiency requirements are integrated into the electrical design (where applicable).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including at least 5 years in a CMS or consultancy role.
• Deep understanding of building electrical systems: LV, MV, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.).
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
