Experience in architectural glass industry, 10 to 15 years.1 . Directly reporting to General Manager
2. Function as Quality Management Representative and responsible for the implementation and monitoring of compliance to QMS and ISO standard
3. Ensure that Management Review, External and Internal Audits are conducted and recommend corrective and preventive actions and control for improvement to its department
4. Report any potential risks that may affect quality of product and safety of the resources and recommend control and improvements
5. Ensure all processes procedures and inspections are documented and records are maintained for traceability.
6. Ensure that corrective actions to external and internal audit findings are implemented and monitor the effectiveness of its implementation
7. Directly manage quality control employees to achieve goals of safety, product quality, productivity at minimal and economical cost.
8. Liaise with production manager and other department managers with closer communication to ensure compliance to QMS and safety and quality of product is achieved.
9. Liaise with maintenance manager and identify faults of machinery and equipment to ensure quality of product is achieved at all times.
10. Ensure that process procedures are followed and complying to established quality management systems and procedures to reduce internal and external rejections.
11. Ensure that measuring instruments and equipments are calibrated on time
12. Ensure Quality inspection is conducted in materials and processes and applicable Problem Concern Note (PCN) is raise with the objective of effective corrective actions and improvement
13. Making sure that action request and corrective actions are implemented, monitored and evaluated its effectiveness
14. Attend to customer complaints, investigate and evaluate the validity of the claims and recommend corrective actions for improvement
15. Conduct site inspection as required, report findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions for improvement
16. Record customer, supplier, external and internal rejections, and make analysis and recommends corrective actions for improvement
17. Ensure that the department is working complying to company policies and regulation, to labor law and to regulatory and statutory requirements
18. Plan vacation schedule of subordinates to avoid failure of processes and product quality monitoring
19. Ensure that the department work efficiently within the allocated budget
20. Maintain professionalism, ethics and practices in dealing with subordinates and colleagues in the company.
21. Contribute ideas and technique for the continuous improvement of the department and employees performance.
22. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and recommends career objective and growth
23. Ensure all KPl's are achieved within acce table limit set b mana ement.
