Senior Officer – Project Management (Technology)

Position Objectives:

Senior Officer - Technology Project Management will lead and oversee high-impact technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Ensures alignment between project goals and organizational strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.
Requires leading cross-functional teams, managing resources effectively, and mitigating risks proactively.
Liaison between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end management of complex technology projects, from planning through execution and delivery.
Ensure all projects align with organizational strategy, business objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needs to optimize delivery outcomes.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to quality, governance, and compliance standards across all project phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
Professional certification in Project Management such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (preferred).
8+ years of proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects across multiple domains.
Strong expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multi-million SAR project budgets.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong command of both English and Arabic languages.
