Job Description:Job SummaryThe SAP Fiori Expert is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of SAP Fiori applications across SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA and ECC-based systems. This role involves managing UX initiatives, modernizing SAP interfaces through responsive, role-based apps, and ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems via SAP Gateway and OData services.The role combines team leadership, hands-on development, client interaction, and solution architecture responsibilities. A strong understanding of SAPUI5 framework, Fiori Elements, CDS Views, and backend authorization structures is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of SAP Fiori projects for both custom and standard applicationsDefine Fiori architecture, launchpad roles, catalogs, and groupsDevelop custom SAPUI5 applications using BAS or Web IDEExtend and adapt standard Fiori apps using available extension pointsDesign and build OData services or expose CDS views for Fiori consumptionCollaborate with SAP functional teams to define app logic and UX behaviorEnsure adherence to SAP Fiori design principles and performance best practicesConfigure SAML, SSO, and secure access to Fiori LaunchpadSupport deployment to SAP BTP or on-premise environmentsMaintain documentation, perform unit testing, and ensure transport governanceLead UAT, end-user training, and post-go-live supportRequired Qualifications & SkillsEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldSAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application DeveloperCertifications in SAPUI5, SAP BTP, or SAP Extension Suite are a plusProject Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferredExperience8–12 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 5 years in Fiori/UI5 projectsMinimum 2 years in a leadership or team management roleHands-on delivery of Fiori applications in S/4HANA and/or ECC systemsExperience integrating Fiori apps with business processes across modules (FI, MM, SD, HR)At least 5 years of Experience in the Banking SectorTechnical & Functional SkillsStrong skills in:SAPUI5 / JavaScript / HTML5 / CSSFiori Elements / Smart Controls / XML ViewsOData Services & CDS ViewsExperience with SAP Gateway, annotations, and RESTful ABAP programmingProficient in Fiori Launchpad setup, app tiles, catalogs, and groupsExperience in BTP-based deployment and version control tools (e.g., Git)Good understanding of SAP security, role mapping, and authorization objectsPerformance tuning, offline support, and cross-platform optimizationSoft SkillsStrong communication and presentation skills for client engagementAnalytical thinking and attention to UX design and usability standardsLeadership and mentoring abilities within technical teamsProject planning, task breakdown, and risk management capabilityEffective documentation and collaborative working styleWork Environment & ConditionsConsulting environment with multiple parallel development tracksTravel may be required within the Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaCollaboration with SAP functional consultants, UX designers, and BASIS teamsParticipation in workshops, sprint planning, reviews, and cutover cyclesContinuous learning through SAP updates, training, and developer certificationsHigh-paced, agile-driven project delivery involving client-side deployment and iterationAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
