- Monitor application performance metrics and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Diagnose performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application code and architecture for improved performance.
- Develop and maintain performance testing plans and execute load, stress, and endurance tests.
- Implement performance monitoring tools and analytics to enhance visibility into application behavior.
- Provide recommendations on hardware and software configurations to boost application performance.
- Educate team members on performance-related best practices and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in application performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, performance testing, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in application monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking to devise effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to articulate performance issues and recommended improvements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and distributed systems is a plus.
