Miraval The Red Sea colleagues continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues.As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will need to:Strategy and PlanningThe Assistant Executive Housekeeper to be handle all HK operation- Rooms and Public areas. Build good connection to all the department. Support to EHK for budget, HK project, Elevate the housekeeping standard and performance to track each and every team member.Supervision & Leadership:
- Assist in managing housekeeping team including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.
- Provide training, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure daily shift briefings and task assignments are clear and followed.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, order, and maintenance.
- Maintain housekeeping supplies and inventories.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Front Office and Engineering.
- Assist with scheduling staff and maintaining payroll records.
- Help manage departmental budgets and cost control.
- Prepare reports on room status, lost and found, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Participate in quality audits and implement corrective actions.
- Support sustainability practices where applicable.
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure room preparation aligns with guest expectations and hotel standards.
- Education:
- Experience:
o Experience in a hotel or resort setting strongly preferred.
- Skills:
o Good communication in English (additional languages are a plus).
o Knowledge of housekeeping systems and property management software.
o Attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY):
- Requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and stair climbing throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift or carry items up to 25 kg as needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Primarily indoors in a hotel/resort environment.
- May involve working in guest rooms, corridors, laundry areas, and outdoor spaces (e.g., balconies).
- Shift work, including weekends, holidays, and possible night shifts.
- Fast-paced and physically active environment with a focus on mindfulness, attention to detail, and environmental sustainability.
