Job PurposeTo lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of assurance and compliance programs within the Safety & Security department. The Lead Specialist ensures that all safety and security operations adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and international standards, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and execute compliance frameworks and assurance plans across safety and security functions.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote compliance awareness and training.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Support external audits and certification processes (e.g., ISO standards).
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of compliance capabilities.
