(Saudi National Only)Grade: G6Location: TaifWorking hours: full timeAdvert closing: 10/09/2025JOB PURPOSE:· To perform ESS Asset management within the Business Data Integrity Team (BDIT) section of the Typhoon Support Centre (TSC) at Taif, KSA, in order to maintain the integrity of the Engineering Support System (ESS) business data reporting to the BDIT ESS Business Data Senior Specialist.· To control the data for assets entering RSAF service, entering and returning from repair or upgrade programs, ensuring the maintenance and technical instruction requirements are correctly annotated against the asset record. Manage asset data between multiple ESS instances. Control the storage of Engineering Record cards internal and external to the TSC and manage new aircraft asset delivery data.· To interface directly with the RSAF at all levels, helping their understanding of the Typhoon asset management, whilst assisting with the development of Saudi National expertise in the Typhoon business data.Responsibilities:· Creating ESS asset records for new assets and equipment being introduced into the RSAF, ensuring that in-serviceasset life, shelf/SLAG life and NIR requirements are correctly scheduled and allocated.· Creating asset data within the TSC asset management systems and, where applicable, store the asset Engineering Record Card (ERC).· Managing ESS asset data for assets and equipment entering the repair process. Where applicable, the asset ERCs are to be updated from the ESS asset record. In all cases an asset conditioning label is to be created detailing the reason for entering the repair process. ERCs leaving the RSAF Environment are to be copied and uploaded to the TSC asset management systems prior to dispatch.· Managing asset ESS data for assets returning from the repair process. Asset repair details are to be recorded and all in-service asset life, shelf/SLAG life and NIR requirements are to be correctly scheduled and allocated. Updating the TSC asset management systems, storing any vendor asset repair details and asset configuration data provided.· Managing ESS asset data for assets and equipment entering an upgrade carousel. Where applicable, the asset ERCs are to be updated from the ESS asset record. In all cases an asset conditioning label is to be created.· Managing asset ESS data for assets returning from the upgrade process. Asset ESS P/N conversions, in-service asset life, shelf/SLAG life and NIR requirements are to be carried out, scheduled and allocated.· Managing, in conjunction with Supply, the quarantining of assets due to data errors/deficiencies for new assets or assets retuning from the repair/upgrade process.· Acting as a point of contact for and managing, in conjunction with Supply, assets held in quarantine due to maintenance actions.· When required, supporting the Forward Data Management Cells (DMC) with asset data transfers to and from MOB/FOBs.· When required, supporting the DMC in creation of deployment asset Priming Equipment Pack (PEP) data.· Carrying out the loadingand verification of New Aircraft data in to ESS and TSC data management systems as required. Ensuring all provided ERCs are stored within the TSC/Depth Shops as appropriate.· Managing the ERC transfer to and from Depth Shop Locations, ensuring that all ERCs held outside of the TSC are suitably stored and maintained.· Assisting with the consolidation training of RSAF/Saudi National BDIT Staff in form of 'On the Job' training, coaching and mentoring as appropriate.· Holding regular planning and proritisation meetings with the Business Data Senior Specialist.· Being deployable to an in-kingdom MOB/FOB to assist with business data issues as required by the TSC Commander.· Being available for periods of 'On-Call' duties in support of on-going RSAF operations as required by the ESS Business Data Senior Specialist.· Undertaking any additional, reasonable, tasks as may from time to time be requested by TSC and RSAF management.· The ESS Asset Specialist, when required by ESS Business Data Senior Specialist, must be able to carry out the tasks of the ESS NIR Specialist and the ESS Business Data Issue Specialist.Job Requirements:· Qualified to HNC, or equivalent, in an Aeronautical / Engineering discipline, with at least 3 years experience in an aircraft support/maintenance management.· Knowledge of aircraft business data management principles and practices, including the requirements for continuing airworthiness management.· A knowledge of the Engineering Support System (ESS) and use of the Microsoft Office suit of programmes would be advantageous.SAUDI NATIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITSIn return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous leave and leave allowance, a full health care scheme and access to discounted gym membership.BAE SystemsBAE Systems has a heritage of commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
