WELLSITE SAFETY SUPERVISORA well-site safety supervisor is?responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient work environment at an oil and gas well-site.?This role involves overseeing drilling, completion, and production operations, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with various teams and contractors.?The supervisor also plays a key part in troubleshooting operational issues, managing rig operations, and maintaining accurate records.?
Key responsibilities
Safety Enforcement:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.?Operational Oversight:
Supervise drilling, completion, and production activities, ensuring adherence to plans and procedures.?
Coordination:
Collaborate with drilling engineers, contractors, and other teams to optimize operations and resource allocation.?Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and potential hazards.?
Emergency Response:
Participate in well control and emergency response procedures, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.?Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, equipment status, incidents, and safety data.?Communication:
Effectively communicate with all relevant parties, including team members, engineers, and management, regarding operations and safety matters.?Training and Mentorship:
Provide guidance and training to crew members, fostering a strong safety culture.?
