Turner Lovell are specialist recruiters for high-voltage transmission and HVDC infrastructure projects across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. We are supporting a global energy technology and engineering firm in their search for a Senior Sales & Proposal Manager to lead tendering and commercial activity for HVDC projects across the MEA region.This is a strategic role for a commercially focused leader with deep experience in bidding and closing large-scale HVDC projects. You’ll take ownership of deal strategy, pricing, approvals, and customer negotiation, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals that align with business and margin targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the growth of HVDC projects for this organisation in the Middle East region. Preference is for a Saudi national but other nationalities will be considered if you have experience bidding for HVDC projects.Key Responsibilities:

Lead tendering activity for HVDC projects across the Middle East and Africa.
Build a strong HVDC project pipeline and support accurate order forecasting.
Define and drive bid strategy, pricing, target costing, and deal structure.
Coordinate with commercial, legal, and technical stakeholders across regional and global teams.
Oversee development of high-quality proposal submissions and manage clarifications post-bid.
Support internal deal reviews and approvals in line with delegated authority.
Participate in final customer negotiations alongside the sales team.
Ensure compliance with company standards, risk protocols, and EHS requirements.
Contribute to global commercial process improvements, standardisation, and bid governance.
