The Project Planner is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera (P6) or MS Project. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the contract scope and client expectations.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Level 1 to Level 4) using Primavera P6 or MS Project.Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather project status updates.Monitor project progress against baseline and report variances with reasons and action plans.Prepare project planning documents including baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and look-ahead programs.Generate weekly and monthly progress reports (S-curves, histograms, earned value reports).Assist in resource planning and allocation based on project priorities.Support project controls including cost, time, and risk assessments.Attend client and internal planning meetings and present schedule updates.Maintain record of delays and support in extension of time (EOT) claims and project forecasting.Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedules with material and resource availability.Ensure compliance with Aramco / SABIC / RC standards where applicable.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling in construction or industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.Strong command in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.Good knowledge of project management principles (PMBOK is a plus).Familiarity with Aramco, SABIC, or Royal Commission project procedures is preferred.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Attributes:
Valid Saudi residency (Transferable Iqama).Knowledge of EOT claim preparation.Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced project environments.Experience working with EPC/Construction/Contracting firms in KSA.Salary & Benefits:
