Junior MEP Technical Engineer

- Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review and preparation of shop drawings, material submittals, and coordination layouts for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues and coordination conflicts between MEP disciplines and other trades.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, Method Statements, and inspection requests in line with project specifications and consultant requirements.
- Participate in site inspections and provide feedback on installation quality and compliance with approved designs.
- Help maintain technical records, drawing logs, and submission trackers to ensure timely documentation flow.
- Collaborate with procurement teams by providing technical input during material evaluations and supplier coordination.
- Attend project meetings and coordination sessions to gain exposure and contribute to technical discussions.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in MEP construction or design environments; internship or site exposure is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings, and technical standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office tools; eagerness to learn advanced software and coordination platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration on multi-disciplinary projects.
