Reports To: Sr. Spa Therapist / Spa ManagerPosition SummaryThe Esthetician at Miraval The Red Sea delivers exceptional, personalized skincare services that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being. Guided by the Miraval philosophy, each treatment is designed to address both physical and emotional needs, fostering a sense of balance and mindfulness.With expertise in advanced skincare techniques and a commitment to service excellence, the Esthetician ensures every guest experience is meaningful, transformative, and aligned with individual wellness goals.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Delivery
  • Provide a comprehensive range of professional skincare services, including facials, peels, advanced treatments, and signature Miraval experiences, performed with precision and care.
  • Conduct detailed skin assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each guest’s needs and objectives.
  • Educate guests on appropriate home-care regimens and recommend professional products to support long-term skin health and well-being.
  • Integrate relaxation techniques such as facial massage, mindfulness elements, or guided breathing, enhancing the therapeutic value of each service.
  • Cultivate a tranquil, professional environment, ensuring guests feel comfortable, respected, and at ease throughout their visit.
Operational Excellence
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and ambiance, consistent with Miraval protocols.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and products are sanitized, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere strictly to established protocols for product usage, hygiene, and guest documentation.
  • Support spa operations through inventory management, product restocking, and maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Manage service schedules diligently, ensuring punctuality and seamless transitions between appointments.
Professional Development & Teamwork
  • Participate actively in Miraval’s ongoing training and development programs to continuously refine skills and knowledge.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, emerging trends, and innovative techniques in skincare and esthetics.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Represent Miraval with professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to exceptional guest care.
  • Engage guests with courtesy and discretion, fostering relationships that encourage repeat visits and positive feedback.
Revenue Generation & Cross-Selling
  • Provide personalized recommendations for additional spa services, wellness activities, and retail products that align with guest needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across spa, wellness, and fitness departments to promote integrated, holistic experiences for guests.
  • Support the achievement of spa revenue targets through service excellence, effective upselling, and attentive guest engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spa offerings, Miraval philosophies, and overall resort services to guide guests confidently through their wellness journey.
Qualifications:Qualifications & Experience
  • Licensed Esthetician or equivalent certification recognized in the country of origin and/or Saudi Arabia.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa, resort, or wellness environment.
  • Proficiency in advanced facial techniques, skin analysis, and product recommendations.
  • Experience with holistic or wellness-focused skincare treatments (e.g., lymphatic drainage, crystal facials, aromatherapy) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of skin physiology, contraindications, and professional standards for draping and hygiene.
  • Additional certifications in wellness practices (e.g., holistic beauty, aromatherapy, salon services) are highly regarded.
